One purpose of Fiction From Fact is to support anti-slavery, general humanitarianism, and environmental responsibility. The creator of Fiction From Fact, J. R. William Marshall, currently supports numerous charities, including Anti-Slavery International, Talitha Arts, New Life Art Ministries, Christian Hope International, the Salvation Army, the British Red Cross, the Ocean Cleanup, and the Seabin Foundation.
J. R. William Marshall is the writer’s pen-name. In addition to personal preference, it is important to protect privacy in consideration of the sensitive subject matter of some of the writing on this website. All content created by J. R. William Marshall (and therefore by him under his legal name, his forename being Sean) is wholly owned by him, and is not permitted to be published on any platform other than his own without his express permission. If his writing or content is used in any way by anyone without his express permission, legal action will be taken for breach of copyright.
Subjects covered mainly include the environmental crisis, human rights abuses, and life’s struggles.

J. R. William Marshall is a senior editor for a legal research firm in London (under his legal name). He is also a certificated technical writer, as well as the author of several works, including a book called Ocuris (2021) under his previous pen-name. He is currently writing a book (2026) and other works. Additionally, he is a Chinese boxing teacher.
