In Pursuit of Equality

Everyone wants to be treated equally. No one would say they’re okay with being treated unequally. So why do a lot of people treat others unequally? They, themselves, would want equal treatment. A slaver would not want to be enslaved. No one would want to be paid unequally. If your country were attacked, you would want support against the attackers. But, so long as it isn’t happening to you, it’s okay, right? You would change your mind if it were.
