The Endless Abyss

I feel as if I’m heartbroken every single day,

All day I’m anxious,

Like staring into an abyss,

It’s endless.

The air is still,

Are you crossing?

Like the trees that dance in the wind,

I want to move, but can’t move freely.

Do you know what it’s like to have nothing?

In the deepest depths of despair,

The changeless and unchangeable amongst constant change,

No one is immune.

Looking at detail through a clear waterfall,

Water pouring like a sheet of melting glass,

Tears falling from a little boy’s eyes,

Tears of depressed, disappointed anger.

How would you want to be treated?

You can give it to me peacefully, or I will find it and take it.

I can hear it through the window, I can hear it through my soul.

A lost generation who don’t know who they are.

Intolerance is intolerable.

Accepting each other is the key. Will you?

Feel free to disagree, but accept and respect.

A war causes death. You want life? You want peace? Put down your guns.

It’s blood money. Keep it.

But beware of the backstabbers.

They’ll try their best to do their worst and be the best at it.

You weren’t there. I was. You can’t fake the truth.

You think those are problems? Try to trip me up…

Life’s a story. Both yours and mine. I wouldn’t try to take yours, so don’t try to take mine.

In this world, ravaged by our kind, our kindness is the key.

When I die, I’ll be pictures and videos. What will my book say?
